Micheal Moore, one of herbalism's more eccentric icons, has compiled a huge resource that everyone interested in herbs should utilise. From a giant plant picture database to scanned eclectic manuals online to his own herbal manuals, this site will keep you busy.

Howie Brounstein's Home Page
Howie is a wonderful herbalist right here in Oregon that has some great resources on his site, especially about wildcrafting.

Plants For a Future Database
This is one of the most amazing resources on the web. The database is gigantic and has many wild plants i have never been able to find information on anywhere. It is also very diverse and lists edible, medicinial, and utilitarian properties. This site is the best first resource for finding uses of those weeds in your back yard you haven't found in any books.

Henriette's Herbal Homepage
A student of Micheal Moore, and it shows. The same dedication to incredible information on her site as the SWSBM. A must read herbal resource site.

Dr. Duke's Phytochemical and Ethnobotanical Databases
Good resource for researching chemical constituants of plants. However there are many errors and you should check the source of the info before quoting or sourcing this information. However overall it is a wonderful database for understanding the phytochemistry of a medicinal plant.

American Botanical Council
Publishers of Herbalgram, Commision E monographs and other great resources.

American Herbalist Guild
The only national organization of american herbalists. The AHG seems to favor medical herbalism almost exclusively, however it is a good resource for information.

American Herb Association
Run by one of our favorite herbalists Kathi Keville.

Herb Research Foundation
Vast storehouse of information resources, including a specialty research library containing more than 300,000 scientific articles on thousands of herbs.

International College of Herbal Medicine
Excellent resource for herbal education, run in part by our good friend Amanda McQuade Crawford.
